Since early 2016, roaming tariffs have dropped significantly. Tele2 has also introduced new bundles for when you’re abroad. For example, 10 euros for 1GB that’s valid for a whole month. However, many Dutch people aren’t aware of these attractive options and remain terrified of incurring high costs.

The overall PR, organic push and social advertising resulted in more than 2.6 million views and over 522 days of video consumption on YouTube. Due to this success, the video was voted Number 1 commercial on YouTube in the month of August, and number 11 for the whole of 2016.

In a very original way, we showed people that you can surf when you’re abroad just as if you were back home. By, on ‘Black Saturday’ (traditionally France’s worst day for holiday traffic), totally transforming a small village in the heart of France into a mini version of the Netherlands.

Time for the next data revolution: abroad, too, we should be able to YouTube till we can’t see straight and app till our fingers drop off.
