LAM, a fun and inspiring art museum for all ages

The LAM is an art museum for all ages. You don't have to know anything about art. You just need a bit of curiosity and an interest in new experiences. We do things a bit differently to other museums over here.

The LAM in a nutshell: - For all ages - Art and nature (you'll find the museum on the romantic Keukenhof Estate) - Food in art, a theme that's relevant to everyone - No text signs - Layman or art expert, child or adult; everyone starts at the same level. It's about looking at art, making it your own. Not learning about the art (art history), but learning from the art.

How does a visit to the LAM work?
The LAM is for all curious people, particularly children (aged around seven and above) and their families. The best way to experience the LAM is on a short, sweet visit. We believe that it's much more fun to take a really good look at a few works of art than to have a quick glance at everything.

It all starts by looking at the art. If you get interested, you'll find more information on your own device. Or one of our pro-active employees. We shall spark your interest with facts, viewing tips, background information and videos, helping you to discover new things and really enjoy the experience.

Fresh air

Following your visit to the museum, you can look around the beautiful Keukenhof Estate, have a bite to eat at one of the cafes or restaurants and visit the children's.
